Police recovers the genital organ of 6-year-old girl mutilated by ritualists in Bauchi
The Bauchi Police Command has recovered a genital organ suspected to belong to the 6-year-old girl mutilated by ritualists in Jamaare Local Government Area of the state.
Recall that two suspects Abdulkadir Wada Haladu, 19, and Adamu Abdulrauf, 20, were arrested in connection with the crime. Wada was nabbed in Mararraba, Nasarawa State where he voluntarily confessed to the crime.
Spokesperson of the command, Wakil, who confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, January 13, said a bottle containing the suspected genital organ (complete Vulva; Libia Majora, Libia Minora and clitoris) was recovered in the house of one of the suspected ritualists, Abdulkadir Wada Haladu.
Other items recovered include two knives, three bottles containing native medicine.
One carton containing some native dry medicines tied inside polythene bags, one dry animal skin, two Islamic native black boards, one calabash, one hoe, and two locally made Disks.

The reunion ceremony of the 279 abducted students of Government Girls Junior Secondary School in Jangebe, Zamfara state and their parents on Wednesday March 3, turned bloody after military officers allegedly fired shots at the agitated parents, killing one person while two other persons sustained serious gunshot injuries and have been rushed to the hospital.
Gistflash Media gathered that the anxious parents had gathered within the school premises waiting to reunite with their children. Trouble started when the parents who were angry that the reunion ceremony was unnecessarily too long, disrupted the proceedings to hug their children and reunite with them.

It was in the moment of the chaos that the military allegedly pulled their trigger, killing one person. Two others sustained gunshot wounds. One of the injured persons is a boy who had come to the school with his father to reunite with his sister who was abducted by the bandits.
The state government nor security agents are yet to comment on the development.

There was a mild drama at the Wuse, Zone 2 Magistrate Court Abuja this morning March 2, as a traditional spiritual leader dressed in full regalia accompanied human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore in solidarity for the commencement of his trial.
Sowore was arrested alongside four others on December 31st 2020, for organizing a candlelight procession and charged for alleged criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and inciting public disturbance. The commencement of his trial was scheduled for today.
The native doctor was seen waving his horsewhip and gourd in the air while chanting some incantations ahead of the commencement of trial.
