Everton Midfielder, Maraouane Fellaini Tests Negative After Treating Coronavirus

Maraouane Fellaini after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus for almost a month recovers from Coronavirus.

Fellani is a Belgian, Former Manchester United midfielder now playing same wing for Eveton. He also plays for Chinese club Shandong Luneng.

 He has been in hospital receiving treatment for the past three weeks and today Tuesday, was discharged after testing negative for the virus.

“Fellaini was assessed and was deemed to have recovered, and was discharged today,” Shandong football club said in a brief statement on Tuesday.

He took to his instagram to share the good news to his fans;

The 32-year-old Shandong Luneng midfielder, the only Chinese Super League (CSL) player known to have contracted the disease will now spend 14 days in quarantine for further observation.

He contracted the virus after returning last month to China and joins a long list of football personalities like Blaise Matuidi, Hudson Odoi, Mikel Arteta who have recovered from the disease.
